Harry Benson is a movie based on the life story of a photographer from 1964 who came into prominence when he captured vibrant and intimate pictures of a band named The Beatles.
Harry Benson, an 86-year-old photographer who is born in Scotland when being assigned to cover the inaugural trip of The Beatles which was taking place in the United States in 1964. On the inaugural trip, United States, Benson captured some of the most intimate pictures of their band. His portfolio contained pictures of several artists such as Winston Churchill, Robert Fisher, etc. The movie becomes more interesting when he is assigned with more dangerous assignments, like covering the Ku Klux Khan, befriending the Martin Luther King Jr. etc. He captured some very unusual shots of a leader’s murder that happened inside the King’s hotel room. Benson’s camera captured some of the memorable and terrible images of the late politician when he joined Kennedy’s presidential campaign.
